Event Information
presents a Practice Event:
Team BLEW'S While the Catz are Away Practice!
When:  Sunday, September 11, 2005
Where:  Auto Club Speedway
Cost Description
$60 Adults
$20 Kid Karts - will run for approximately 30 minutes
during lunch, depending on number of karts

The practice is currently full, but we are waiting for a number of checks, and there will be cancellations, so occasionally check the myautoevents site to see if there is a spot available.

We are planning on having morning and afternoon sessions. We want to maximize everyone's enjoyment of the event are asking that everyone adhere to the following schedule:

Time Description
7:00AM Registration and Tech Open
8:15AM Course closed for walking
8:15AM Session 1 workers must have signed in by now
8:16AM Mandatory Safety Meeting
8:30AM Course goes HOT!
10:00AM Registration and Tech Close except for kids karts

The plan is to have 4 morning and 4 afternoon work groups. You will be required to work a one hour morning shift and you are free to run the rest of the morning session. The same applies to the afternoon session. Kid karts will be run for approximately 30 mins during lunch (register separately at the "While the catz are away! Kids Practice" event.

  • Mandatory drivers meeting at 8:16AM
  • No alcohol may be consumed by anyone on the event site.
  • Helmets must conform to Snell 90 or newer. Some loaner helmets will be available.
  • Held under the 2005 SCCA National Solo Rules and CSCC Solo 2 Supplemental Regulations.
Special Rules: 
  • Closed exhaust; the 95db noise standard may be monitored.

  • While this is a practice we will be recording times and posting results for TTOD and for entertainment purposes!
  • Event officials reserve the right to make changes to event operations (including but not limited to collapsing run groups) as needed. Your cheerful cooperation is appreciated!
