CSCC Solo2 Executive Board
presents a School Event:
CSCC Autocrossing School
When:  Saturday, July 29, 2006
Where:  El Toro
Fees:  Closed! The school is full. Applications are no longer being accepted for this event. Entrants are posted on the Message Board. No walk-ins will be taken.

Times:  Be there early Saturday.
Registration and Tech open at 7 AM. Class starts at 8 AM. This event runs until 5:30 PM.

Safety:  Cars must pass a safety inspection before being allowed to run.


No alcohol may be consumed by anyone at the site.

Helmets are required. Helmets must be SNELL 95 or newer.
Some loaner helmets are available; however, we do not have enough for
everyone. It is highly advisable to bring your own so that you do not have
to wait for one.

Important Notice for Minor Drivers: Please note - for drivers under the
age of 18 years, a Minor Waiver is required. Both parents will need to sign the SCCA Minor Waiver
form. If a student does not already possess a valid SCCA Minor waiver for 2006, at least one parent must attend. The other parent's signature may be notarized. Forms can be obtained from SCCA's website at www.scca.com. Click
"Insurance" bar, then the "solo/rally", then the Minor Waiver form. Notarization is required if the signatures are not applied in front of an event official at the event. Minor Waivers are good for the calendar year.
Please come prepared so that no young person is disappointed.

Sound limits may be enforced. Cars over 95 dB may be prohibited from
running. 
Special Rules:  No sharing of cars will be allowed (no co-driving students)

DIRECTIONS to the lot:

From the 405 Fwy:
Take the Sand Canyon Road exit. Head east on Sand Canyon.
From the Northbound exit make a right at the bottom of the ramp.
From the Southbound exit make a left at the bottom of the ramp.
• Follow Sand Canyon Rd. for approx 1 mile.
• Immediately after going under the I-5 freeway overpass, turn right onto
Marine Way.
• Proceed ½ mile to the El Toro (gate 9) entrance guard shack located straight
ahead.
• Follow signs to the AMCI Drive Center
From the 5 Fwy:
Take the Sand Canyon Road exit.
From the Northbound exit:
• Follow ramp down to the stoplight and turn right on Sand Canyon
• Immediately move to the left turn lane (25ft.) and turn left on Marine Way
• Proceed ½ mile to the El Toro (gate 9) entrance guard shack located straight
ahead.
• Follow signs to the AMCI Drive Center
From the Southbound exit:
• Turn left onto Sand Canyon and immediately move to the right lane
• Immediately after going under the I-5 freeway overpass, turn right onto Marine
Way.
• Proceed ½ mile to the El Toro (gate 9) entrance guard shack located straight
ahead.
• Follow signs to the AMCI Drive Center

Important rules:
• Stay on the marked path to your location
• Do not wander or explore the base
• Stay within the speed limit as Irvine PD actively tickets on the
base.
