CSCC Solo2 Executive Board
presents a Practice Event:
Not Just the Leaves are Falling
When:  Saturday, November 08, 2008
Where:  Auto Club Speedway
Fees:  $55

Make checks payable to So Cal Solo 2. Do not send cash, money orders, Disney Dollars, or gold bullion.

Steve Ekstrand
1546 Coolidge Avenue
Pasadena, CA 91104-2007

All entrants MUST BE SCCA members. Non-members can purchase an SCCA weekend membership at the event for $5 BEFORE going to registration. Those purchasing a weekend membership will receive a $15 credit toward the purchase of a yearly SCCA membership.

Renee Angel, Rick Brown, and Ken Lord have free entries for this Practice because Mike and I said so. And I'm a big angry lawyer and Mike has that hat, so what we say goes.
Times:  Mandatory drivers meeting at 8:05 am.
Course walking 7:15am-7:45am.
Registration 7:00am-8:00am.
Tech 7:00am-8:00am.
First car will be sent out Craig Angel "COURSE IS HOT" style no later than 8:30am.
Course will be closed for walking at 8:15am.

Safety:  Who the heck knows what weather we'll face. Come prepared for anything! And watch your awnings and Canopies, its the windy time of year.

Helmets must conform to Snell 95 or newer.

Some loaner helmets will be available. Any place that sells skis or snowboarding equipment probably sells balaclavas that will insulate you from the mega smelly jungle fury cooddies that may reside in some loaners. Really, they aren't that bad, but I'd rather spend $8 on a head sock if I had to use them.

No alcohol, even fine tequila used for medicinal purposes or other intoxicants may be used by anyone on the event site.

Speed limits - Pits 5 MPH; Access road 25 MPH. Failure to abide by these limits may result in immediate dismissal from the event, without refund. Though you will experience the wrath of Renee Angel. And maybe Ann Donohue as well.
Special Rules:  The event is capped at 75 entries. The initial Entrants List will be published the evening of Saturday, November 1st on the Events forum. If the event is over-subscribed entry preference will be decided by Magic 8-Ball, Oujia Board, Taro cards, and the quality of your bribes.

Junior Karters will run at lunch and will have a $15 fee to cover sanction and insurance costs. They will not count towards the 75 cap.

Run groups are assigned by color. Co-drivers should split themselves over multiple run groups if possible.

The three run groups will be 1:10 each, morning and afternoon. Worker changeover will be on the fly and lunch will be 45 minutes.
